The National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) is in the process of advising legal assistance services, Graduate Dipolma of Legal Practice (GDLP) providers, law graduates and other stakeholders about our long-standing Regional, Rural and Remote Practical Legal Training (RRR PLT) project.
Funding for the project from the Australian Government Attorney-General's Department ended in December 2016. The project is no longer accepting applications. All students that applied prior to this time have been placed. NACLC is currently reviewing the program and considering options for its continuation.
NACLC is committed to identifying future options for the project, and has engaged a consultant to undertake an independent evaluation of the project, looking at what the project has achieved and exploring a suitable and sustainable model for the project into in the future. The evaluation's outcomes are a critical element in developing the evaluation base for the development of and advocacy for the the preferred future model.
Alongside this evaluation, NACLC welcomes any feedback about any aspect of the RRR PLT project, please contact Chantel at NACLC 02 9264 9595 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
